Two people were found dead Sunday inside a Brentwood home owned by film director Rob Reiner, prompting LAPD to open a murder investigation.

Firefighters responded to a medical aid call around 3:38 p.m. on Chadbourne Avenue, where a 78-year-old man and 68-year-old woman were discovered. Authorities have not released additional details.
