Police say 41-year-old Cecilia Simpson was fatally sh-t multiple times in the parking lot of a PetSmart around 1 p.m. on Tuesday. According to an arrest affidavit, the confrontation began moments earlier outside a nearby Five Below store, where Simpson reportedly held the door open for 22-year-old Keona Zachyua Hampton.
When Hampton didn’t say “thank you,” Simpson allegedly became upset, sparking an argument between the two women. Simpson and her daughter then left and drove to the PetSmart located in the same shopping plaza.
Once inside, Simpson reportedly told employees that Hampton was following them. Investigators say Hampton soon entered the PetSmart and began arguing with Simpson’s daughter. She left the store but returned shortly after, confronting Simpson again — moments before the sh-ting occurred.
